First Baptist Church, Hickory, is seeking
a Church Administrator
Part Time 25 hours per week
Will be responsible for the administrative functions of the church. Will give oversight to church business affairs including
supervision of the following employees: the financial
assistant, the facilities manager, the food services director, the Child Development Center director, and technologies/IT
personnel. Also serves as staff liaison to several
administrative committees of the church (finance, properties, transportation, CDC, and bylaws) which meet monthly in the evenings. Reports to the Senior Pastor.
Candidates must have a B.A. or B.S. degree in business,
accounting, or a related field; must have at least five yrs exp.; and must demonstrate strong team, leadership,
interpersonal, communication, organizational, and computer skills. He/She must be a person of strong Christian faith and character and must be able to enthusiastically support the mission of the church as detailed in our mission and identity statements readable at www.fbc.cc.

Salary (exempt, no benefits) is $30k - $35k annually
depending on experience.
