We are seeking resumes for an Accounting Associate in our Trinity, North Carolina Facility
Support the Plant Controller in multiple aspects of the plant accounting functions.
Assist with month end closing activities.
Perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit, and collection duties.
Perform general accounting activities.
Prepare and record accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
Prepare and perform weekly payroll processing.
May plan meetings and company functions as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or a related field or 3+ years of related work experience.
Have an understanding of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail, organization, and deadlines.
Ability to exercise independent judgement with assigned work under general direction.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Possess strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
