The Defense & Intelligence Group of Employer has an opening for a Sr. Windows Systems Administrator at Ft. Bragg, NC
The Sr. Windows Systems Administrator will support the G2 Army MI Enterprise program which provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems.
Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
Provide Desktop system management involving account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problem.
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Configure and manage Windows operating systems.
Install/load operating system and application software
Isolate and resolve of hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof.
Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems. Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED with 10+ years of related experience, OR Associate's degree with 8+ years of experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience.
Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at IAT II, Security+ce or higher.
Currently possess MCSA 2012: Admin (411), or MCSE: Infrastructure (414), or other relevant accepted Microsoft certification.
Currently possess a DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
Experience and/or expertise in supporting enterprise-level Microsoft server environments to include Microsoft Server 2008 Active Directory with Windows 7 clients, Exchange, WSUS, and/or SCOM technologies.
