Supervise, schedule, develop and conduct performance appraisals on location supervisors and associates
Train supervisors, ride assistants and area supervisors.
Establish and maintain good working relationship with other departments
Resolve guest and associate concerns
Respond to all emergency situations
Compile and report information on all incidents within the area
Regulate the addition and subtraction of ride units
Determine when to open and shut down ride locations and notify appropriate personnel
Maintain manuals and update as required
Ensure the accuracy of associate time in the Time and Attendance System (TAS)
Work closely with rides staffing coordinator to maintain proper staffing levels
Ensure the accuracy of attendance records and capacity sheets
Ensure accuracy of the opening procedures checklist
Prepare and deliver counseling reports (attendance, behavior, etc.) when necessary
Recruit, interview, and hire associates for the department
Provides supervisor with necessary information needed to effectively perform their duties.
Assures management that departmental goals and objectives are communicated to personnel under his/her supervision.
Delegates assignments to supervisor.
Follows up on tasks delegated to supervisor to assure proper completion.
Assures management safety procedures are followed at each ride/attraction.
Follows and enforces all park and deparmental policies and procedures.
Resolves and communicates concerns, occurences or problems that may arise within the area.
Evaluates job performance of all personnel under his/her supervision and makes necessary recommendations.
Gives verbal directions and assistance to guests and assures hospitality is practiced.
Assures the cleanliness of rides/attractions, restrooms, locations and back areas.
Accurately completes necessary paperwork (i.e. associate performance records, time off requests, schedules).
Prioritizes operational needs to supervise the area in an efficient and timely manner.
Assures supervisors have proper equipment and adequate supplies to complete job tasks.
Adheres to budgetary guidelines.
Promotes teamwork and a positive atmosphere throughout the area.
Maneuverability and mobility to work within the park.
Maintains clear, concise and specific lines of communication between management, associates and other departments.
Regular attendance, ability to work with other people and uses good judgement.
Assures safety procedures are followed at locations.
