Assists in placement of all Retail Associates.
Determines and identifies training needs for Retail, and strives for continual improvement.
Conducts departmental training sessions.
Arranges program logistics: scheduling participants, and required resources, preparing and restoring facilities with appropriate arrangement of tables, chairs, audio visual equipment, props, snacks and any other materials or equipment needed for training.
Designs and produces materials and outlines for training sessions.
Facilitates training and transfers of information and learning, maintaining and adjusting training as needed to achieve objectives, uses all required props, equipment and simulations and evaluates instructional methods.
Calculates, records, enters attendance for training participants. Distributes data and records to appropriate locations.
Speaks clearly and concisely with organized thought processes.
Communicates effectively both orally and in writing to all-internal and external customers. Needs reading and writing skills.
Follow up and respond to additional needs of trained associates.
Performs Focus Groups.
Maneuverability and mobility to conduct park tours and to work in park locations.
Develop/Implement/Monitor divisional retention plan, utilizing exit surveys.
Ability to work with other people.
Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
